My photographic project True Colors has as starting point the city of Aveiro, particulary the Beira-Mar (Sea Shore) neighborhood, which is caracterized for their typical architecture: similar houses with various and vibrant colors and different materials.
My goal was to capture its essence and use it to get the attention of the viewer, by photographing the colors and materials using the buildings' lines, which are a testimony of time passing, neglect and aging - and its beauty.
The vertical orientation and similar framework allow the viewer to focus on the differences between the various doors, creating photographic series, a catalog.
